The Role

We are seeking both Analysts & Associates to work within our execution team across our London & Istanbul offices. Both roles are dynamic in nature, working across the asset management and advisory teams, including – at time – contributing to the Multi Family Office practice of the firm.

Location: Istanbul & London, with candidates selected to work in either location working on global deal flow.

Main duties and responsibilities (Associate):  The Associate will be responsible for the execution of transactions, working under the Vice President/Director, with main responsibilities including:

  • Managing end to end execution of the fund raising process, overseeing the preparation of marketing materials, and the creation of appropriate financial models
  • Managing the appropriate regulatory compliance work, and preparation of the reporting materials for credit committees/pipeline meetings, and any material that will be circulated to third parties.
  • Fostering and developing the Firm’s existing client relationships, with the full ability to be able to explain Tanto Capital Partner’s vision, mission, and value proposition to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing of, and assisting in the professional development of, Analysts and other junior colleagues that are direct reports and across the firm.
  • Providing timely and accurate/dependable strategic support to the leadership teams across different functions and geographies, and contributing to the overall effort of the global team in accomplishing relevant and necessary tasks

Candidate Profile (Associate):

  • Minimum an undergraduate degree from a reputable university, with a relevant business/finance degree.
  • Highly fluent in English, and an articulate oral and written communicator (additional European language skills, in particular Italian, French, and German is desirable – although not necessary)
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working in either an investment bank or a private equity firm (or a minimum of 6 years experience working in the corporate finance function of a Top 4 global audit firm)
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, with advanced Microsoft Excel/VBA skills, and Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Proven analytic foundation; able to read, analyse, and clearly communicate the commercial implications of financial statements – having the capacity to utilise various valuation methodologies (DCF/LBO, comparable company analysis etc)
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in competently handling a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information simply
  • High professional and ethical standards
  • ACCA/CIMA/ CFA qualifications highly desired
  • Permission to work in the UK (for the London based role)

Main responsibilities include:

  • Working on the preparation of marketing materials, and the creation of appropriate financial models
  • Executing the appropriate regulatory compliance work, with guidance from the Associate, and preparation of the reporting materials for credit committees/pipeline meetings, and any material that will be circulated to third parties.
  • To demonstrate the capacity to foster and develop client relationships and an ability to explain Tanto Capital Partner’s vision, mission, and value proposition to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing timely and accurate/dependable strategic support to teams across different functions and geographies, and contributing to the overall effort of the global team in accomplishing relevant and necessary tasks
