Viral brings over 28 years of global leadership experience in financial services, with deep COO expertise and a strong track record in strategic transformation, operational excellence, and governance. He is known for delivering complex programmes, managing senior teams across multiple locations, and driving sustainable efficiency.

Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Global Chief Operating Officer of the Non-Core Unit at Credit Suisse, overseeing $100BN in assets, leading teams across 12 locations, and executing major divestments and regulatory change initiatives.

His broad expertise spans process re-engineering, business strategy, regulatory and audit compliance, conduct risk, and employee engagement. Over his career, he has advised executive committees and built frameworks to manage risk and deliver long-term value.

Viral holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol.
